Last night saw our first proper Indian Mutiny game using SP2. 7 of us took to the dusty plains of Oudh in 2 games played side by side the river down the river being classed unpassable terrain. The same leader and command cards used by both games. All figures were 28mm from Angus's collection.
Brian and I sweep towards the house to rescue Harry Flashman. Volunteer cavalry lead the way while EIC troops advance supported by the Volunteer skirmishers.
The other game, Sikh cavalry run foul of Sepoy rifles and artillery. This saw the Sikhs run for it and eventually ran off table.
Angus and Ian brave the sepoy fire but it was too much for Ian's regulars who lost a group and saw the other 2 on the verge of breaking.
This was the last pic as I took as things heated up on my table as the EIC troops got into a firefight with the Maharaja guard and the cavalry swept into a group of Musket armed Badmashes. Beating them and sweeping them off the table next move.
A few more reinforcements for the Peninsula. Lord Capt Richard Rasche and his 60th Rifles, these finish my Literary force of mainly Bruswick troops, Front Rank and Eagle miniatures. The good Doctor Crippen, Front Rank with Perry AWI hat and bag from 2 Zombie backpacks. Deployment markers, Geese from Warbases and Calvary from GW Sisters of Battle standard.
