Today I'm joining Joyce for her Hodge Podge post. She asks the questions and we give her our answers. See all of the answers at From This Side of the Pond.
2. Slow as molasses, icing on the cake, that's the way the cookie crumbles, have your cake and eat it too, half-baked idea, that takes the cake...which phrase might be applied to something in your life in recent days? Explain.
Slow as molasses... I've done something to my right foot and it hurts! So I'm moving slowly these days.
3. Something that's 'easy as pie' for you to do?
Nap... it's so easy that sometimes I'm sitting on the couch reading or playing a game and BOOM... I'm asleep! I don't even need to think about it!
4. Are you someone who likes to 'sugarcoat' news you think might not be well received, or are you more of a tell it like it is and let the chips fall where they may? Do you like to receive your news the same way you give it?
I think I fall somewhere in between but leaning towards telling it like it is. And I like to receive news the same way... especially if it isn't particularly good news. Kind of like removing a bandaid... rip it off!
5. Something you did recently that made you feel like a 'smart cookie'?
Hmmm...this is going to take some thought.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
Now I am really feeling the need to bake something... something sweet and decadent. Sigh...
